The law of Cause and Effect may NOT be what you think it is....

In this video Dr Hawkins explains how your thoughts are the cause that create the effects.

This explains the law of Correspondence....which says....Nothing appears in the physical until it is first created within the invisible.

When we think that the cause of everything is in response to the direct force of energy in the physical then we make the mistake of believing this law. Hawkins explains in his book "Power vs. Force" (I paraphrase) that all cause energy moves through the invisible then back into the physical before it manifest itself as the effect...Your thoughts will influence the energy within the effect therefore you will determine the outcome of the effect be consciously or unconsciously.

When you expand your awareness you empower yourself to manifest exactly what you want through the law of Cause and Effect.

There is no "this" causing a "that"...

Is Our World An Illusion?

What you may not understand...."Its an illusion"....does NOT mean this world does not exist....it means our perception of the reality of this world is the illusion.

Your mind and the level of consciousness that you are currently living in will determine your "illusion" of this reality. I believe your current "Truth" is only a distortion of the absolute truth.

I know this maybe hard to understand. It was only in recent years that I have been able to understand this and apply it to my life.

Doing so will free you to grow and enjoy life at its deepest levels. It will bring you great joy.

What is Content vs. Context?

You are experiencing everything thing in either content or in context. Content are the things of this world. Context are the spiritual life and meaning behind all thing in this world.

I remember when I first read this in Hawkin's book, "Power Vs. Force" I had some trouble understanding this...I hope this video will help you in your understanding of what they are and how you will experience them.

According to Dr. Hawkins at the level of consciousness (200) it is called "Courage"... at this level you begin to take responsibility for everything in your life...you understand that there is no one to blame...therefore you are empowered to forgive and live your life in integrity as you make progress to the next level of consciousness which is "Neutrality."

Causality - The Illusion

This is one of the most difficult principles to grasp and apply. So for those of you who are new to Dr. Hawkins teachings…you may want to skip over this post and come back later.

You have been conditioned to believe that every effect, action, or manifestation is the direct result of a previous effect or action causing it to happen.

Therefore the universal law of "Cause and Effect" is not what you think it is. I remember when I first read this in Hawkins book, “Power vs. Force” starting page 48…I had trouble understanding what he was saying...it took some time for me to begin to understand how this worked. He does a good job explaining in the book but my mind could not easily accept this principle.

Even now my mind wants to believe that if I do “such and such” then as a result of that…“such and such” will happen. This is not true. There is no one “Such and Such” that makes that happen…

For me...this is un-comfortable…this implies nothing is stable in this world…this implies the law of Cause and Effect is NOT dependable…therefore I need to grasp a better understanding of how this law does work...hang on!

Hawkins points out in his book that we focus upon the effect and we do NOT understand how it is manifested….therefore we wrongly assume that a “cause” has created this “effect.”

For example…”Cigarette smoking is the cause of cancer!”…this is not true! I do not smoke and I am not promoting smoking but this statement may help you understand how this works. Even the surgeon general can not say it causes cancer…they may say on a pack of cigarettes it may cause cancer but they have never been able to prove that…why? There are too many variables that come into play when creating cancer.

We look for the cause of cancer to be something physical like cigarettes. They may play a role in its manifestation but the true cause comes out of the invisible not the physical…The truth is…it is not what we eat that makes us sick instead sickness is a result of invisible vibrations of the mind and the heart…our thoughts and emotions.

I hope this explains how “Cause and Effect” works. Note this applies to all things in the physical not just “Living” things...your thoughts and your connection to the invisible are more powerful than you think.

Courage – energy level 200

Courage is taking responsibility for yourself…it is the beginning of “Knowing Who You Are!” It is the awakening.

Some would say that courage is the willingness to give up your life for another….but true courage is taking the responsibility to LIVE your life for one another. It means you will take the challenge to live your life to its fullest.

At this level of consciousness you no longer blame anyone else or any one thing for results of your actions…not your boss, your parents, your spouse, the government, or God.

Courage means accepting yourself despite all your fears and defects and pressing on into personal growth, integrity and your full potential.

Courage means you no longer play the victims role…you stop lying to yourself…you now have the power to face the truth…you are no longer helpless…you now have the power to change your world from within.

At the level of courage you will find a personal empowerment, a power that draws all its strength from the love of God.

I am sure you experience love everyday but living at a level of 500 (according to Dr. Hawkins) is a state of consciousness where Unconditional Love is your normal level....that is a challenge.

You are NOT your Mind!!!

Do you feel like you are losing your mind?
If so this may not be a bad thing.....

The truth is....you are NOT your Mind!

I know you may think, “This sounds crazy.”

Try this little exercise with me….

Think with your mind a thought about your job, the place where you work, the people you enjoy working with…..

Now think stop thinking about your job and think about your last vacation and how much fun you had.

Were you able to notice when you consciously stopped one thought and went to the other.

Did you notice you were aware of your mind moving from one thought to another? That is your consciousness not your mind.

The fact that you are aware of your thoughts is proof that your mind is separate from your consciousness. Your mind is only a tool, a place where your thoughts and imagination play.

How would you answer this? Do you consciously produce every thought that comes into your mind? I don’t. Sometimes my thoughts will surprise or even shock me. They are NOT a part of my consciousness.

This is why I want to raise my consciousness and transform my mind. You can too. You can raise your level of consciousness and it will produce harmonious thoughts which will work at the same level of your consciousness, therefore producing love, joy, peace and happiness.

Romans 12:2 reads, "Be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind."

You will receive a new mind....one that is "intuitive."

The Mystery of Cause and Effect

What is Cause and Effect?

Your response might be Sir Isaac Newton’s third Law of Motion, which says “for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.”

X -> Y -> Z

You have been taught that Cause and Effect is an action or event (X interacts with Y) which produces a specific response to the action in the form of another event (creating Z). The first event is the cause of the event that follows which is the effect. Therefore, Cause and Effect is all physics or psychological. Correct?

The Dilemma

But what happens when X interacts with Y a second time and the results are different? How do you explain it when you do NOT get the same effect? Obviously your perception is limited. Physics and psychology are still in their infinite stages.

Hawkins teaches in his book “Power vs. Force” that mankind has a misunderstanding of the nature of causality.

“Man is stuck with his lack of knowledge about himself until he can learn to look beyond apparent causes.”

This is why man’s consciousness has grown so slowly in the last 40,000 years. The world has yet to solve world hunger, poverty, and wars. Man’s focus has always been on the effects and not the cause.

Defining “Force”

Every time you blame someone or something for an undesirable effect it is evident you do not understand how Cause and Effect works. At this level of consciousness you will create more and more undesirable effects. This is why you find yourself using “force” to either control, rule, or destroy yourself and each other.

When you focus only upon the physical you limit your consciousness. But when you learn how to focus upon the invisible you will raise you consciousness to a higher level of “power.” When you can say there is no one to blame, then you will know you have begun to raise your consciousness to a higher level.

FORCE is a lower energy which has to be fed constantly otherwise it dies. Raise your consciousness to POWER and the effects will be endless and everlasting. It is the connection to all source.

All the time and energy you spend creating force.....that's what drains you. You force yourself to work a job you hate. You force yourself to obey the laws or not get caught. You force yourself to be tough for your protection. Your force yourself to be selfish to get what you want. You force yourself to judge others so you can feel good about yourself. You force yourself to avoid other people so you don’t have to express true love. No wonder you are tired, stressed out, frustrated, and unhappy.

Your purpose is to know the source of your power and the only way you can do that is by shifting your focus, understand who you are and raise your consciousness.

The Law of Correspondence

There are universal laws which make up the fabric of your universe, both in the physical and in the invisible.

The law of Cause and Effect is one of them others wise known as “to sow what you reap.”

To once you understand how the Law of Correspondence works then you will begin to understand the true nature of Cause and Effect.

The Law of Correspondence says; before anything can be created in the physical it must first be created in the invisible.

Just like an idea. First you get the idea in your head as a thought or inspiration then you can manifest it into the physical.

It could be an action such as giving someone a hug, writing a letter, or just speaking to someone. It can also be drawing a picture, fixing your car or building a house. It all starts in the invisible and has its beginning through your consciousness and thought.

If you are impressed with what you see in the outer physical world then you would be amazed if you could see your inner invisible world. Look at the vastness of outer-space and you will get an idea of your inner-space. Within you is an invisible world which is a huge field, full of possibilities waiting for you to experience.

Revealing the Mystery

In recent years science has discovered that everything in the universe is ingeniously dependent upon everything else. The whole world is kept in balance between the physical and the invisible. The study of quantum physics has opened the door as proof that the physical world is governed by the invisible.

In other words your thoughts are influenced by your level of consciousness. When you experience something in the physical, the effect is a result of your connection to the invisible.

For example, when you hit a ball with a bat, it is not just the bat creating the energy but the inter-action between your thoughts and those who are observing. Yes other people can and will inter-act with you in the effect. But it is your level of consciousness which creates the effect.

This is why “faith” is so powerful. It is the evidence of things unseen. (Hebrews 11:1) It is a power that comes from within, when exercised people will call it a miracle because it is beyond their understanding but not to the one who created it.

Hawkins says you create an attractor pattern in your consciousness. You pull out of the invisible what you expect to create. That is the true Cause of all Effects.

Power vs. Force 2002

I first read David R. Hawkins book, "Power Vs. Force" back in 2002. I will admit I did not understand it all. I was not ready. My spirit was stirred and my mind was fascinated but my consciousness was not yet ready.

I began to teach from this book in 2005 but my teachings were limited to my understanding.

In 2008 a light came on in my head and I began to understand what I know and teach today from this book.

Here I will post my thoughts.
